As a volunteer based charity, 100% of funds goes to our core mission in providing warmth for people experiencing homelessness. This year, we have already started providing blankets to our charity partners to begin distributing to those in need. By being a reliable supplier of blankets, we have become the first point of call for blankets which enables our partners to redirect their resources to other areas of their organisation to ultimately make a bigger difference for people experiencing homelessness.

Through generous donations, we were able to recently add cohealth to our growing list of beneficiaries. Cohealth provides allied health, mental health services for people experiencing homelessness in the Collingwood area in Melbourne. They are an invaluable service provider and we are proud to support them.

Your donations will also help finance our Outreach Program. Our weekly Outreach provides an opportunity for everyday Melbournians to volunteer their time and provide important engagement with people sleeping rough. Each night, we provide clean blankets, toiletries and sanitary products, for people sleeping rough and through respectful conversation, our Outreach Program restores dignity to those in need and provides a supportive community for people who are in the most challenging period of their lives.

Supporting us does not have to end with a personal contribution. Community groups and organisations have a big impact on our ability to continue to provide warmth in the community and we would like to make particularly thank Sechoir, who this year has conducted a winter blanket drive for us for the third year running, Glory City Church, who have brought people from their community together for a social afternoon playing games and fundraising, as well as CakeMe!, who has been a long time supporter of 300 Blankets and has more recently auctioned off a beautiful cake and raised over $1000 for us!
